ConnectDaDots is a precision drawing game for iOS. Each level presents a hidden path — straight lines, sweeping curves, intricate mazes, everyday objects, nature scenes, symbols, or expressive faces — and your job is to trace it as closely as you can. The more accurate your tracing, the higher your score and the more coins you earn. Some games add an optional time challenge on top.

Scores sync to a live leaderboard so you can see how you rank globally.
You can start playing immediately as a Guest, or sign in with Apple ID for cross-device leaderboard sync. Here's what each option means and how to manage your account.
Pick a name and play instantly — no sign-in required. Your scores and coins are stored locally on your device. If you delete and reinstall the app, local data cannot be recovered.
Link your Apple ID for private, secure authentication. Your leaderboard entry is tied to your Apple ID so your rank follows you across devices. Your email is never shared.
Signing out returns you to the Welcome screen. Your Apple ID is unlinked, but all local scores, coins, and progress remain on the device. When you sign back in with the same Apple ID, your leaderboard entries are still associated with your account in the cloud.
Deactivating puts your account on hold for up to 90 days. During this period your leaderboard presence is suspended, but your data is preserved. You can reactivate at any time within the 90-day window and everything comes back exactly as you left it.
If the 90-day window expires without reactivation, the account is permanently deleted automatically.
Choosing Delete Account immediately and permanently removes:
A new Guest session is created automatically. This action cannot be reversed — there is no grace period.
Coins are earned when you beat your previous best coin total for a game. Only improvement pays out — replaying without improving earns nothing, so every coin counts.

When you hit 50 gold coins (signed in with Apple), the Game Creator unlocks. Design your own game and submit it for everyone to play.
Scores and progress are stored locally on your device. A reinstall wipes local storage. To protect your leaderboard position across installs, sign in with Apple ID — your cloud scores remain safe even if you reinstall.
Yes — sign in with the same Apple ID on each device. Your leaderboard scores sync through iCloud. Local progress (coins, path history) is device-specific and does not sync between devices.
Coins are only awarded when you beat your previous best coin total for that game. If your new score earns the same or fewer coins than your record, no payout occurs. Try tracing more accurately (and, on timed games, staying under par) to push past your record.
Complete the previous game in the level to unlock the next one. A game is considered complete once you reach the score screen after tracing all segments.
Shadow is a faint overlay of your most recent attempt, tinted by how well you scored each segment — so you can see which parts need work. Tap the Shadow button in the toolbar to toggle it.
Compare replays your stroke against the perfect path: your line animates in its accuracy colour (green, yellow, orange, red) while the ideal path is shown in blue. It's available on any completed game — even ones you're revisiting.
Surprise games hide the picture behind a “?” until you finish. You trace the mystery shape blind, and its name and image are revealed the moment you complete it. After that it's no longer a surprise — the real name is shown whenever you revisit or replay the game.
Once you've ever reached 50 gold coins while signed in with Apple, the Game Creator unlocks (it stays unlocked even if you spend those coins later). Open Settings → Create a Game to design a game, then submit it for review — each submission costs 1 gold. Track its status under My Submissions; approved games go live at a level an admin assigns, for everyone to play.
Deactivate puts your account on a 90-day hold — all your data is preserved and you can reactivate any time within that window. Your leaderboard entry is hidden while deactivated.
Delete is immediate and permanent. All data — local and cloud — is erased and cannot be recovered. A new Guest session is started automatically.
Your local scores are gone after a reinstall if you were a Guest. However, if you previously uploaded scores to the leaderboard as a Guest, those cloud entries persist. Signing in with Apple ID on the new install will give you a fresh local device but your cloud rank remains visible.
Each segment is scored 0–100 on accuracy — how closely you traced the path. Some games are timed: going over the par time applies a penalty that lowers the segment's score (untimed games have no such penalty). Your game total is the sum of all segment scores, and coins are awarded from those scores.
ConnectDaDots is designed to collect only what is absolutely necessary to run the leaderboard and nothing more.
Display name, optional Apple ID (hashed), and game scores — only when you choose to participate in the leaderboard.
No location data, no advertising IDs, no contacts, no camera access, no behavioural tracking.
Leaderboard data is stored in Apple CloudKit (your iCloud). We have no separate backend servers.
Use Delete Account inside the app to permanently remove all your data from every device and iCloud instantly.
To delete all your data, open ConnectDaDots → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This is immediate and permanent. Alternatively, email us at photerrificshots@gmail.com and we will process your request within 30 days.
